Our Ferris wheels not only fulfil the highest safety standards valid throughout Europe, we also pay attention to ecology, sustainability and climate neutrality throughout the entire operation.
The energy required for the intelligent, low-noise motors and the energy-efficient LED lighting technology is covered by green electricity from renewable energy sources whenever possible at the respective location.
We had our carbon footprint calculated 5 years ago for our large, 55 metre high 'Europa-Rad' and therefore know the operational options for reducing CO2. With the 'Europa-Rad', we use voluntary CO2 compensation to offset emissions that ultimately cannot be avoided when operating such a giant wheel. This is done with the help of CO2 certificates that come from high-quality and recognised climate protection projects. To ensure the ecological and social sustainability of these projects, we only use 'Gold Standard' projects. This standard has been audited worldwide and is highly recognised.
